Momentum 2010 Northwest Ohio Young Women's Summit featuring keynote speaker: Kristian Brown, WTVG, talking about " A Girl's Guide to Gaining Momentum in Life" is free to young women in the 7th through 12th grade.  The afternoon will be filled with motivational speakers as well as small interactive groups, led by talented, knowledgeable women who will share information and experiences about the following subjects:  How to manage the money that I make babysitting or in a summer job? When should I begin planning for college? Can I afford it? How to build safe and trusted friendships? How should I act when interviewing for a school play, a summer job or for college entrance? How can I figure out what I want to study in college? Do I really want to go to college? Are there volunteer opportunities that can help me lean about careers? The Toledo Summit will bring together young women from diverse backgrounds for a half-day of interesting programs.
